Malden Green Wave (Malden, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Twin Rivers Royals (Broseley, MO), 67-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Malden upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Campbell (Campbell, MO) to clash with the Camels in a Bootheel bout on Friday, December 9. The Camels go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Campbell lost 67-37 in their recent non-league bout against Neelyville (Neelyville, MO)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Bernie Mules (Bernie, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Twin Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
