The Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) basketball knocked off the host Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH), 47-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Dukes (2-1) will now prepare for their test against West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Warriors go into the Eastern Buckeye test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, West Branch notched a victory over South Range (Canfield, OH), 56-39, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Manchester for a Principals test on Friday, December 9. Northwest will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-53 non-league loss to Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
