Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Patterson Clippers (Baltimore, MD), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Mergenthaler Vo-Tech upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Woodson (Washington, DC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Woodson won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Capitol Heights, MD)

Next up, the Clippers play the Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Patterson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Roughriders go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 81-77 non-league win over Word of Life Christian Academy (Springfield, VA).
