The New Lexington Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Sheridan Generals to 34 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowbrook for a Muskingum Valley contest on Friday, December 9. New Lexington will battle a Colts team coming off a 72-25 league loss to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Colts record now stands at 0-2.

The Generals (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Scotties come into the Muskingum Valley contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Tri-Valley triumphed over Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH), 72-25, in a league contest.
