North Carolina High School Basketball - North Mecklenburg trounces Berry

December 6, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28208

The North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball crushed the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), 71-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies go into the 3A/4A Conference 60 test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Hough was trounced by Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 61-58, in a non-league test.

The Cardinal now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Myers Park for a 4A Conference 49 test on Friday, December 9. Berry will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 71-60 non-league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
