The Northwood Gladiators basketball team (Silver Spring, MD), dropped 54-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD)
The Vikings now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethesda-Chevy Chase for a Montgomery 4A South battle on Friday, December 9. Whitman will battle a Barons team coming off a 57-43 league loss to Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Barons record now stands at 0-1.
The Gladiators (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
