Royall Panthers (Elroy, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI), 53-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Royall upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Cashton (Cashton, WI) to play the Eagles in a Scenic Bluffs bout on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Cashton won 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Viroqua (Viroqua, WI)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout, on Friday, December 9. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Redbirds come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 62-60 non-league loss to Belleville (Belleville, WI).
