The Westwood Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans to 55 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Park Academy for a 5A District 13 contest on Thursday, December 8. Westwood will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 45-41 non-league loss to John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce, FL). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-2.

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Inlet Grove (Riviera Beach, FL). The Hurricanes come into the 3A District 8 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Inlet Grove edged Berean Christian (West Palm Beach, FL), 62-28, in a non-league contest.
