Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), 52-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Webster City upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lynx host Algona (Algona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a North Central bout on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Algona lost 78-75 in their recent non-league bout against Charles City (Charles City, IA)

Next up, the Titans play the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Friday, December 9. South Central Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 86-13 league win over Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA).
