The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Apple Valley Eagles to 40 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony Village for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (St. Paul, MN). The Governors enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Johnson was routed by Richfield (Richfield, MN), 62-8, in a non-league contest.
