The Azle Hornets basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Chisholm Trail Rangers to 27 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host V.R. Eaton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Azle will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.

The Rangers (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region I District 3 contest with a 6-5 record.
