Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI), 60-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Traverse City Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans host Marquette (Marquette, MI) to play the Redmen in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Redmen go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Marquette lost 45-39 in their recent non-league bout against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Friday, December 9. Bay City Western will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Chemics go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI).
