Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 68-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brentsville District upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA) to play the Cougars in a Northwestern bout on Friday, December 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Kettle Run lost 44-34 in their recent non-league bout against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. James Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 59-18 non-league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
