The Brownstown Central Braves basketball squad scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Salem Lions to 35 in the Braves league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Brownstown Central upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Hauser (Hope, IN) to play the Jets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Jets come into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Lions play the Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN) in a Mid-Southern bout, on Friday, December 9. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 62-29 league win over Austin (Austin, IN).
