The John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), 51-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Homewood notched a victory over Bibb County (Centreville, AL), 45-32, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscaloosa County for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. Calera will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 43-31 non-league win over Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-2.
