West Virginia High School Basketball - Capital ripped by Nitro

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 61-25 triumph over the Capital Cougars.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a Cardinal match, on Thursday, December 8. Nitro will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Generals enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 47-37 non-league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).

With the defeat, Capital moves to 0-3 on the year. The Cougars host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to meet the Redskins in a Mountain State match on Wednesday, December 14. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 1-2. Hurricane lost 56-52 in their recent non-league match against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV)
