Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA), 61-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corona del Mar upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Sea Kings travel to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to clash with the Stallions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 8-0. San Juan Hills won 98-60 in their recent non-league bout against Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)

Next up, the Vaqueros clash with the Santa Ana Saints (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Irvine will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 42-41 non-league loss to Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA).
