The Silver Lake Eagles basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Council Grove Braves to 23 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riley County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Silver Lake will meet a Falcons team coming off a 34-9 non-league win over Concordia (Concordia, KS). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

The Braves (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Creek (St. George, KS). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Rock Creek triumphed over Abilene (Abilene, KS), 52-29, in a non-league contest.
