With the victory, Nacogdoches improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Pine Tree (Longview, TX) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Pine Tree won 57-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Hallsville will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
