The Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) basketball crushed the host Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA), 52-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines go into the North Iowa Cedar - East test with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Dike-New Hartford overwhelmed Denver (Denver, IA), 75-33, in a league bout.
Next up, the Warriors play the Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout, on Friday, December 9. Wapsie Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 64-43 non-league win over Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA).
