Tenaha Tigers (Tenaha, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX), 76-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tenaha upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Ferris (Ferris, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Ferris won 47-41 in their recent non-league bout against Palmer (Palmer, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Canton Eagles (Canton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Lufkin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 59-27 non-league win over Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX).
