Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) and the host Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA), saw Pleasantville's basketball squad knock off Madrid by a count of 52-41.
With the victory, Pleasantville upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a West Central challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Van Meter lost 47-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Woodward-Granger Hawks (Woodward, IA) in a West Central challenge, on Friday, December 9. Madrid will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA).
