The Oshkosh North Spartans basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Manitowoc Lincoln Ships to 40 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hortonville for a Fox Valley contest on Thursday, December 8. Oshkosh North will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 66-56 non-league win over Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-0.

The Ships (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bay Port (Green Bay, WI). The Pirates enter the Fox River Classic contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Bay Port was nudged by Sheboygan North (Sheboygan, WI), 58-56, in a league contest.
