Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) and the visiting Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), saw Whitman's basketball squad wallop Northwood by a count of 47-12.

With the victory, Whitman upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Poolesville (Poolesville, MD) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Gladiators play the Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
