Oldenburg Academy Twisters (Oldenburg, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), 42-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oldenburg Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Twisters travel to Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Deaf Hoosiers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Deaf Hoosiers come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Indiana School for the Deaf lost 43-39 in their recent non-league bout against Tindley (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Shiners play the Medora Hornets (Medora, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Rising Sun will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 39-33 league win over Christian Academy of Madison (Madison, IN).
