Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS), 46-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Picayune upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Maroon Tide host Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Oak Grove lost 34-28 in their recent non-league bout against Biloxi (Biloxi, MS)

Next up, the Crescents play the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Our Lady Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 50-28 non-league win over Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS).
