With the win, Solon upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Spartans host Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA) to play the Stormin' Pointers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Stormin' Pointers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Center Point-Urbana won 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Vinton-Shellsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to Benton (Van Horne, IA).
