The St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball crushed the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 47-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Redstickers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Assumption walloped St. James (St. James, LA), 44-40, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ascension Catholic for a 1A District 8 test on Thursday, December 8. St. John will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
