The Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team (Asheboro, NC), was nudged 34-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC)

The Black Knights now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Wilkes for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. North Davidson will battle a Vikings team coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Eastern Randolph was nudged by Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 60-34, in a non-league battle.
