Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA), 72-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clayton Valley Charter upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Ugly Eagles travel to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Mt. Eden won 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Castlemont Knights (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Berkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 39-31 non-league loss to Kennedy (Richmond, CA).
