North Carolina High School Basketball - Corvian Community overwhelmed by Cannon

December 6, 2022: Concord, NC 28027

The Cannon Cougars basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals to 36 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Grove Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. Cannon will play a Lions squad coming off a 57-40 league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Corvian Community will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Raptor come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 62-51 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC).
