The Central Bobcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Independence Patriots to 42 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2.

The Patriots (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Arizona College Prep triumphed over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ), 78-30, in a non-league contest.
