Cocoa Tigers (Cocoa, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cocoa Beach Minutemen (Cocoa Beach, FL), 47-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cocoa upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers host Rockledge (Rockledge, FL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Rockledge won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Titusville (Titusville, FL)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Astronaut War Eagles (Titusville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Cocoa Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 68-24 non-league loss to Lake Nona (Orlando, FL).
