The Garner Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs to 48 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Garner will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 74-64 non-league loss to Hillside (Durham, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Holly Springs prevailed over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
