The Mooresville Blue Devils basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Weddington Warriors to 29 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Statesville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Mooresville will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-2.
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Carolina International was outscored by York Prep (Rock Hill, SC), 38-31, in a non-league contest.
