North Carolina High School Basketball - Newton-Conover can't hold off Patton

The Patton Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maiden for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7.
The Red Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Alexander Central edged North Iredell (Olin, NC), 28-26, in a non-league contest.
