The Springbrook Blue Devils basketball team (Silver Spring, MD), was nudged 46-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD)

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blair for a battle on Friday, December 9. Paint Branch will confront a Blazers team coming off a 43-41 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 0-1.
