In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), by a margin of 61-59.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Carroll County got by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 81-40, in a non-league outing.
