The Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 61-30 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Elbert County was routed by Stephens County (Toccoa, GA), 67-62, in a non-league contest.
The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Prince Avenue Christian triumphed over West-Oak (Westminster, SC), 70-54, in a non-league contest.
