Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Community of Peace Academy Tigers (St. Paul, MN), 79-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Washington Tech upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to play the Crusaders in a AA Section 4 bout on Friday, December 8. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. Croix Lutheran lost 72-64 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Nova Classical Academy/Fit Academy Charter (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Community of Peace Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 55-20 non-league win over Chesterton Academy (Edina, MN).
