Michigan High School Basketball - Frankenmuth thwarts Meridian

The Frankenmuth Eagles (Frankenmuth, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), 53-39 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Falcons go into the Tri-Valley - Red test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Freeland notched a victory over Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI), 48-41, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clare for a Jack Pine test on Friday, December 8. Meridian will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 45-32 non-league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.
