The Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Johnsonburg Rams (Johnsonburg, PA), 69-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Chucks (2-0) will now prepare for their test against DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, DuBois Central Catholic walloped Glendale (Flinton, PA), 51-32, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to DuBois for a non-league test on Friday, December 8. Johnsonburg will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Beavers record now stands at 2-1.
