The Lane Tech Lane Tech basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting North Lawndale Phoenix to 51 in the Lane Tech league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lane Tech now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a Chicago Public - Red Northwest contest on Friday, December 8. Lane Tech will meet a Eagles team coming off a 77-65 league loss to Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Phoenix (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies enter the Chicago Public - Red Northwest contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Payton College Prep was routed by Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 76-51, in a league contest.
