The Natchitoches Central Chiefs basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Marksville Tigers to 57 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pineville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Natchitoches Central will battle a Rebels team coming off a 60-41 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-0.
The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Winnfield triumphed over Ruston (Ruston, LA), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
