The New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Phelps Lions (Malvern, PA), 78-66 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Springfield Township (Erdenheim, PA). The Spartans go into the Suburban One - American test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Springfield Township went down by William Tennent (Warminster, PA), 83-53, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Solebury for a Penn-Jersey test on Wednesday, December 6. Phelps will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 92-52 non-league loss to Westtown (West Chester, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
