The Newman basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting St. Andrew's Saints to 65 in the non-league victory on Wednesday.

The now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 10. Newman will battle a Chancellors team coming off a 70-54 non-league loss to Capital Prep Harbor (Bridgeport, CT). The Chancellors record now stands at 0-1.

The Saints (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Winchendon (Winchendon, MA). The Wapiti come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
