Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Maria Carrillo Pumas (Santa Rosa, CA), 72-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redwood upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA) to play the Ugly Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Ugly Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Clayton Valley Charter won 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA)

Next up, the Pumas play the Ukiah Wildcats (Ukiah, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Maria Carrillo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA).
