Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Castlemont Knights (Oakland, CA) and the visiting Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), saw Castlemont's basketball squad wallop Concord by a tally of 54-26.

With the victory, Castlemont improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Oceana (Pacifica, CA) to confront the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Minutemen confront the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) in a Tri-County - Stone challenge, on Friday, December 8. Concord will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Gauchos come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 57-28 league loss to Bethel (Vallejo, CA).
