North Carolina High School Basketball - Corvian Community overwhelmed by Liberty Preparatory Christian

December 6, 2023: Mooresville, NC 28117

The Liberty Preparatory Christian Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals to 29 in the Patriots non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson Day for a Metro Area contest on Friday, December 8. Liberty Preparatory Christian will battle a Mariners team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 8-1.

The Cardinals (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Charter triumphed over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 51-39, in a non-league contest.
