Illinois High School Basketball - Metamora ripped by Lincoln

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored a decisive 72-26 triumph over the Metamora Redbirds.

In their next game, the Railsplitters meet the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) in a Central State Eight match, on Saturday, December 9. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Crimsons enter the match with a 1-9 record after their 48-16 non-league win over Granite City (Granite City, IL).

With the defeat, Metamora moves to 2-8 on the year. The Redbirds travel to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, December 16. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-9.
